At Heinz Musitronics our private music studios provide a quiet, supportive environment where lessons are taught by professional musicians with years of teaching and performance experience.
Practice
We have musical instruments for purchase or rental, plus all the necessary accessories to encourage regular practice sessions, which is the key to successfully learning to play a musical instrument.

Dean Musser - Guitar, Bass
Over the past thirty years Dean has shared his talent with students of all ages and abilities. Proficient in teaching all styles of music from rock, blues, pop and country, Dean tailors his teaching methods to the individual student. He has composed over 500 songs and is co-owner of “Any Dream” recording studio. He has performed with many area musicians and has created several solo recordings. Having taught at Heinz Musitronics since 1976, Dean finds that past students are returning and bringing their grandchildren for lessons.

Mike D’Antoni – Guitar, Bass, Piano, Violin, Banjo, Ukelele
Mike grew up in New Orleans, where he played many instruments with different types of bands; from jazz to rock, and folk to pop. He earned a bachelor's degree in music education from the University of New Orleans.Currently Mike is a member of the Beatle band "Abbey Road'" and plays with local jazz combos. He has taught private lessons at Heinz for over 15 years, and is comfortable with students of all ages, having worked with pre-schoolers up through senior citizens. Music theory and composition can be included in the lessons, also.

Matt Wyatt – Drumset and Percussion
Matt graduated with a music degree from the University of Virginia where he studied jazz, African percussion and ethnomusicology. He teaches drumset and percussion full time, while also performing as a freelance drummer with such bands as Os Magrelos, Old School Freight Train, Beleza Brazil, and his solo project, Mantis. Matt works with each student to determine his or her specific musical goals. These goals often involve attention to motion and technique, world, funk, and rock drumming, listening and ear training, learning to record, reading music, and composing grooves for drumset. Greg Howard – Chapman Stick
One of the world’s most traveled concert soloist, Greg began playing this innovative electric string instrument in 1985. As a Chapman Stick player and composer his forte is improvisation. He has written and published a method book called THE STICK BOOK Vol. one and taught seminars across North America and Europe. We are very fortunate to have his talent available for lessons here at Heinz Musitronics.
